The BLINCdev community was established by Dr. Patrick M. Pilarski and Michael (Rory) Dawson as a medium for translating technologies developed in the BLINC Lab into the hands of researchers, makers, and the general public. Our development team consists of of inter-disciplinary researchers from medical, rehabilitation, engineering, and computing science backgrounds who share a common interest in developing technologies to improve sensory motor control of advanced prosthetic systems.
BLINCdev is supported by the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii), and is also made possible by funding from the Canada Research Chairs program, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada, and Alberta Innovates Technology Futures.
